About

Christine is a therapist and a workshop facilitator, both of which fulfil her passion to help people help themselves. She was trained as a medical doctor then took up an international corporate career during which she was drawn to alternative medicine. As a practitioner, she chose CranioSacral Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Integral Somatic Psychology, Dynamic Attachment Re-patterning experience, and the Bodynamic somatic developmental psychotherapy approach because of their truly holistic approach and because these use the body’s ability to heal itself at its own pace. She runs a private practice in Central, Hong Kong. Christine believes in empowering people to help themselves, so she developed and facilitates Unplug courses in neurophysiological self-regulation and mindfulness, workshops in CranioSacral Therapy for self-treatment, and various corporate workshops (feedback & listening skills, conflict resolution, leadership & coaching, diversity & inclusion, unconscious bias, among many others). She has given talks and training on various mental health topics, emotional first aid and suicide prevention. She assists training for other helping professionals by the Somatic Experiencing Institute in both HK and Canada. Her diverse background, unique combination of skills and love of learning are the foundation for the hundreds of talks, courses and workshops she has delivered.
