Ian’s work in the theatre led him to find ways to reduce stress, performance anxiety and to promote good sleep. He has taught movement in UK drama colleges for over 25 years and uses Feldenkrais and the Sounder Sleep System with acting students and their support staff. They find it deeply transformational. Ian trained as an opera singer at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. As a movement director and performing artist, he has worked with Shakespeare’s Globe and the Royal Shakespeare Company. As a Feldenkrais practitioner, he regularly works with people with Parkinson’s, arthritis, chronic fatigue and amputees. Ian is passionate about sharing his experience with the wider population using the Sounder Sleep System to help people have a good night’s sleep and to reduce anxiety.
