About

In her work, Brigitte uses movement to promote long-term health, enhance development, boost the unity of body and mind, and balance the nervous system. She has a rich and varied wealth of experience and works with both children and adults.

Her professional path began in childhood. Due to poor gross motor skills, she attended music and movement classes. Surprisingly, this intervention awakened her love of dance, and she began training in classical ballet. Right after graduating from high school with a focus on mathematics and science, she studied contemporary dance.
Over time, she gained a wide range of movement experience and, in addition to the technical disciplines (classical ballet, modern, jazz), she became increasingly interested in improvisation, contact improvisation, Butō, the Feldenkrais Method®, and the Japanese martial arts Aikidō and Aikitaisō. In 2007, she completed her Feldenkrais training in Paris and in 2008 achieved her first dan in aikido.
Brigitte began teaching the Feldenkrais Method while still in training (2006). The more she immersed herself in the Feldenkrais Method, as well as aikido and aikitaisō, the more her interest in external forms waned. However, her penchant for science remained, and in 2021 she completed the CAS Dance Science: Motor Learning & Training at the ISPW, University of Bern, with a module thesis focusing on proprioception.

In 2011, she met Janine Holenstein. From then on, they worked closely together in the field of the Feldenkrais Method. Thanks to Janine, she also learned about the SOUNDER SLEEP SYSTEM in 2014. Starting in 2020, she organized a total of five certifying training courses with Janine in Winterthur and participated in two complete training courses herself. Brigitte provided organizational support for all courses and assisted with and taught in the fifth one. In April 2025, Janine appointed her as a senior teacher, and in January 2026, she became a trainer (teacher trainer).
